JOTIS attained a triple distinction at the Self Service Excellence Awards, an institution that highlights and awards consumer product retail businesses and their suppliers for their excellent practices and results. The 3 gold awards were a recognition of the company’s excellent performance in an equal number of important areas of entrepreneurship:
The Gold Award in the category "Sales Increase" was awarded to JOTIS for its steady upward trajectory in the baby cereals category (in all areas of Greece as well as in all product subcategories).Characteristic is the fact that in less than 3 ½ years, JOTIS baby cereals gained 15.3 percentage points of the market share.
The Gold Award in the category "Investment Activity" concerns the operation of a production unit in the area of Agrinio. This investment corresponded to approximately €7,000,000, which is part of the broader JOTIS strategic and investment program. This distinction is even more significant given its implementation during these challenging economic times.
Finally, JOTIS won a Gold Award in the category "Digital Media", for its recipe site, its Facebook page, as well as its corporate site. In recent years JOTIS has broadened communication with its public through digital media, adapting not only to new communication needs and trends, but also to those of the consumer, using contemporary methods adapted to the company's identity.
The initiatives that are recognized as part of the Self Service Excellence Awards competition are recorded, in order to make the innovation and creativity of the industry companies in question more widely known; these records, in turn, can be something of a "good practice guide" for other companies that might wish to follow similar strategies.
It is also noteworthy that the JOTIS Company was recently distinguished as a "Diamond of the Greek Economy" by the institution of the same name (Diamonds of the Greek Economy), which aims to award the country’s most prosperous companies, which, despite the current adverse economic climate, continue to operate and grow, and contribute effectively to the development of the Greek economy.
